A clearer experience.
A stronger foundation.
A proposed redesign based on a review of dcdlaw.com on October 16, 2026. The concept reuses the firm’s logo and photography, refreshes its messaging, and demonstrates a more focused client journey.
Make trust visible.
Use the real defense team as the central visual. Pair the existing bronze identity with restrained green, warm ivory, clear typography, and generous space. Remove repeated slogans and competing messages.
Answer the next question.
Help visitors understand what the firm handles, how the team works, and how to begin. Keep useful detail in practice pages and resources, with a clear path back to a consultation.
Improve clarity and accuracy.
Give each practice a clear page purpose, descriptive title, one main heading, and relevant links. Preserve useful existing URLs and correct conflicting business facts before launch.
What the current-site review revealed.
These are observations from public pages and source. No Search Console, analytics, or backlink access was available, so this proposal makes no claims about current rankings or measured traffic gains.
| Finding | Why it matters | Proposed action |
|---|---|---|
| Practice links mismatch | Homepage “Learn More” destinations do not consistently match the service names. | Link each descriptive service title to its correct existing URL. Demonstrated in this concept. |
| Conflicting office details | Contact, location, footer, and structured data list different headquarters or suite information. | Confirm active offices, suites, and staffed hours. Update pages, business listings, and schema together. |
| Inconsistent totals | Client and case figures differ between page copy and metadata. | Verify dated totals and award/review claims before reusing them. Omitted from this proposal. |
| Competing homepage | /homepage-2/ is currently indexable with a self-referencing canonical. | Confirm its purpose. If obsolete, permanently redirect it to the selected homepage. |
| Overloaded navigation | Extensive code-section menus make the primary client paths harder to scan. | Keep a short primary menu. Organize detailed charge guides under practice hubs and resources. |
| Existing SEO foundation | The site already includes canonicals, a sitemap, robots.txt, and structured data. | Preserve these features and improve accuracy, consistency, and page relationships. |
What is implemented in the concept.
The homepage, six practice pages, team, resources, and contact pages use responsive HTML, individual titles and descriptions, descriptive internal links, image alt text, and optimized existing photography. The navigation, consultation pathways, mobile call bar, and FAQ disclosures work.
The original 395 KB hero image is served as responsive WebP variants; the largest is about 154 KB. The site uses a compact static structure. This is an asset improvement, not a measured Core Web Vitals result.
Basic LegalService structured data demonstrates the verified firm name, telephone, and service region. Exact office addresses and opening hours are intentionally awaiting factual reconciliation. This preview carries noindex instructions; production indexing rules and domain-specific canonicals must be set during a real migration.
The search and content plan.
| Priority | Action | Completion evidence |
|---|---|---|
| 1 · Confirm facts | Reconcile office addresses, suites, hours, attorney credentials, contact handling, review permissions, and numerical claims. | One approved firm fact sheet used consistently on the site and business profiles. |
| 2 · Protect existing value | Inventory URLs and inbound links; preserve useful service paths, correct destinations, and map retired pages to relevant permanent redirects. | Crawl showing valid pages, one-hop redirects, accurate canonicals, and no unintended broken links. |
| 3 · Deepen useful content | Expand priority practice hubs with attorney-reviewed explanations, primary legal sources, relevant next steps, and links to detailed charge guides. Show author/reviewer identity and honest update dates. | Approved, distinctive service pages that answer real client questions. These concept pages demonstrate the template, not a complete legal-content migration. |
| 4 · Strengthen local relevance | Build helpful pages for verified offices with appointment details, directions, accessibility, and accurate local-business data. | Consistent business name, address and phone; validated structured data; substantive office pages. |
| 5 · Verify and measure | Check accessibility, phone/calendar actions, performance, redirects, sitemap, schema, and indexing settings. Track qualified call/consultation actions and organic landing pages. | Launch checks plus Search Console and conversion reporting after publication. |

Clear titles, useful content, accurate local information, and a sound migration can support search visibility. Rankings and rich results are not guaranteed. FAQs here support visitors; this proposal does not assume FAQ rich-result eligibility for a law firm.
Scope and next decisions.
This is a design preview, separate from dcdlaw.com. It uses original firm images and new copy grounded in the existing site. Resource guides and full biographies open the current website; consultation links lead to the firm’s existing phone and calendar. A launch would require full content migration, factual and attorney review, complete office pages, and production SEO validation.
